Photo gallery: On the job during power restoration

OPPD crews were busy with power restoration following the Jan. 31-Feb.1 winter storm that left eight inches or more of snow in the area. Among them was troubleshooter Aaron Prohaska, who let photographer Andrew Roger accompany him on his calls.

A troubleshooter’s role is to respond to emergency outages and calls for service. They identify problems and make repairs or arrange for repairs by line technicians, underground crews or other specialized personnel. Click through the photos in this gallery to see what happens during a troubleshooter’s day.
