At 4:10 p.m., OPPD crews restored the power outage that occurred when a tree fell onto a primary line near 61st & Hamilton.
High winds this afternoon are behind this outage, as well as scattered power outages this afternoon. If you experience an outage, please report it to OPPD.
An OPPD crew is on the way to a power outage in midtown Omaha, impacting 1,372 customers. At this time, we have reports from Douglas County 911 of a large limb taking down live wires near 61st & Hamilton.
The impacted area runs from Blondo Street to Underwood Avenue, 53rd to 74th streets.
Always treat downed lines as live and high voltage.
