Forecast through Thursday includes chances of storms

Wednesday, June 6, updated at 11 :45 p.m.

Tonight’s storms have caused scattered power outages, mainly in Washington and Douglas counties. About 1,260 customers are without power as of 11:45 p.m.

Crews are patrolling a few areas looking for causes. One area that spans these counties is bound by Washington Street and Pawnee Road from Pioneer Road to the Missouri River. Similar to last weekend’s thunderstorms, tonight’s also have caused tree damage. If downed trees are to blame, they will need to be cleared away from wires. Once causes are determined, crews can restore power.

If you should lose power, report it online or by calling 1-800-554-6773. You can see impacted areas on our outage map.
