6:39 p.m., Aug. 3, 2018

The outage in North Omaha caused by tree interference with power lines was restored by 6:08 p.m.

5:55 p.m., Aug. 3, 2018

OPPD troubleshooters have located two areas just west of 30th & Reddick Ave., where trees are interfering with power lines.  They are calling on tree crews to set up at that location in order to safely clear the trees from the lines so that power can be restored.

Crews are hoping to have power restored by about 7 p.m., barring any unforeseen problems.

4:45 p.m.

We have an outage impacting a portion of  north central and northeast Omaha.  Trouble shooters are investigating the cause of this service disruption that is impacting nearly 1,300 customers.

The outage was reported at 4:05 p.m., affecting portions of a circuit that stretches from Weber St. (north) to Jaynes St. (south), from 60th St. (west) to 30th St. (east).

Be aware that traffic signals in these areas are likely impacted, as well. Please use caution,  particularly as we head into rush hour.

We will post updates here as we learn more from our crews.
