Power outages in Elmwood

8:45 p.m., Aug. 6, 2013

OPPD crews are working to restore power in Elmwood, where nearly 800 customers have been without power since 6:10 p.m.

Two areas are impacted: North Adams St. to County Rd. C ,  from 238th St. to 322nd St. to the east, as well as Mill Rd. to A St., from Hwy 50 to State Hwy 63.

The source of the problem is broken insulators at the substation that serves Elmwood. Our crews are making repairs and hope to have power restored by 9:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen complications.
