Power was fully restored in Millard at 8:20 p.m.
This was a tough issue to work through. Crews had to be very systematic in their approach, testing section upon section of cable, to get to the bottom of this issue.
We appreciate our customers’ patience as we worked through problems underground to restore power up above.

OPPD has been working throughout the day to resolve power issues impacting some customers in the Millard area. Their neighborhoods have experienced several circuit trips since 11:45 a.m., and some lost power at 2 p.m.
The problems have impacted customers between from F St. to Birchwood Ave, between 133rd St. and 150th St. as well as from F St. to Z St., from 131st St. to 144th St. Currently, 83 customers within those areas are without power.
We have a crew in the area testing cable, and we have additional crews heading over to help, as well. They have identified a portion of underground cable that has a fault, and they are running tests to see if there are any additional issues that require attention.
Our team will stay on the job until these issues are fixed, and the lights stay on for our customers.
