Circuit outage in central Omaha

3:30 p.m., Oct. 11, 2019

The below outage was restored at 3:28 p.m.

The cause was a tree limb, which had fallen on a 3-phase line. It has now been cleared.

2:48 p.m., Oct. 11, 2019

A power outage is impacting 1,300 customers in Omaha right now. It began at 2:38 p.m., affecting customers within the following boundaries:

  • 54th St. to 84th St.
  • Woolworth St. to Grover St.

We do not know the cause of this outage, yet, or when power might be restored. But OPPD troubleshooters are on their way to investigate.
