Outage in central Omaha

2:40 p.m. – Troubleshooters found tree limbs across the lines near 66th and Pinkney Streets. They are removing the limbs and working to restore power to those impacted as quickly and safely as possible.

2:15 p.m. – Troubleshooters are responding to the report of an outage in central Omaha impacting 1,565 customers Friday afternoon. The cause is not known at this time but the impacted area spans from 58th Street to 73rd Street and from Manderson Street to the north and Blondo Street to the south.

Crews will be patrolling the area to determine the cause of the circuit lockout.
