The remainder of this outage has been restored. All customers were back online at 2:53 p.m.

Troubleshooters found a burned power line. While unable, yet, to determine the cause for this damage, they were able to close a couple of circuits to restore the majority of this outage at 12:58 p.m.

We still have 292 customers without power until a line crew is able to replace the burned out portion of the damaged power line. We hope to have this work comlpeted by 4 p.m., barring any unforeseen problems.

12:30 p.m., May 12, 2021

OPPD troubleshooters are investigating two circuit outages that have caused more than 3,500 customers to lose power. The outages began at 12:19 p.m.

One circuit outage impacts 1,533 customers between O St. and Monroe St., from 42nd St. to Edward Babe Gomez Ave.

The other impacts 2,024 customers between P St. and Chandler Rd., from 51st St. to 27th St.

Crews will be inspecting equipment to determine the cause of these outages. They, tenatively, hope to have power restored by about 2 p.m., depending on what they find.

We will keep you posted as we learn more.
