Friday morning brings chance of severe weather

There is a slight chance of severe thunderstorms Friday morning, June 11. The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast estimates storms will move into the OPPD service territory at around 7 a.m.

Forecasts call for high winds and heavy rain in our area. The risk for hail is primarily located northwest of the Omaha metro area. The potential for storms could last into the early afternoon, according to NWS.
