Power restored to customers in central Omaha

Power has been restored to the customers affected by the outage in central Omaha.

The outage occurred after a vehicle struck a switch box near Turner Boulevard and Jones Street.

3:15 p.m., Friday, Aug. 27, 2021

An OPPD line crew and troubleshooter are en route to investigate an outage in central Omaha affecting 989 customers. Reports indicate a vehicle accident near Turner Boulevard and Jones Street may be impacting service.

The circuit lockout is affecting an area bound by Dodge Street on the north, Pacific Street on the south, 21st Street on the east and 34th Street on the west.
