All power has been restored but repairs will continue after a pole was hit by a car and fell down.

Friday, Nov. 18, 5:15 p.m.

OPPD troubleshooters are on their way to an outage in northeastern Omaha affecting 1,526 customers. Those affected live in an area bound by Ida Street on the north, Redman Avenue on the south, North 24th Street on the east and North 39th Street on the west. We have reports of a vehicle accident in the area that may have damaged some electrical equipment and contributed to the outage.

We estimate the outage will be restored by 10:30 p.m. or sooner, and will know more specifics as we assess the situation.
