Power restored for customers in northwest Omaha

Crews have restored power to all of the 3,004 customers in Douglas County who lost power due to a circuit lockout.

The outage affected customers in the northwest Omaha area, encompassed by State Street to the north, West Maple Road to the south, 139th Avenue to the east and 163rd Street to the west.

11:45 a.m.

A circuit lockout at 11:12 a.m. has knocked out power to 3,004 customers in Douglas County.

The outage affected customers in an area encompassed by State Street to the north, West Maple Road to the south, 139th Avenue to the east and 163rd Street to the west. We’re investigating the cause of the outage.

Substation and line crews are already on site, and troubleshooters are on their way to help. We don’t yet have an estimated time to restore power but will provide that information as soon as we get it.
