OPPD crew restores power to Omaha customers affected by outage

An OPPD crew has restored power to all 2,682 customers who lost electricity in Omaha.

The outage ended at 8:01 p.m. The area affected was bordered by Burt Street to the north, Howard Street to the south, 19th Street to the east and Interstate 480 to the west.

OPPD workers are responding to a power outage in Omaha affecting 2,682 customers.

The outage was caused by a circuit lockout at 6:02 p.m. on Saturday. The outage encompasses an area bordered by Burt Street to the north, Howard Street to the south, 19th Street to the east and Interstate 480 to the west.

An OPPD splicer crew is looking for a cause and will make repairs. We don’t have an estimated time of restoration right now but will add updates as soon as we have them.
