8 p.m. – Nearly all power outages have been restored.
7 p.m. – OPPD crews restored power to a circuit service more than 1,500 customers in north central Omaha. This outage started at 4:39 p.m., affecting those within the boundaries of State St. and Browne St., from Wenninghoff Rd. to 72nd St.
Work to restore fewer than 100 scattered power outages continues. These outages are mostly in Douglas County.
6:08 p.m.
OPPD troubleshooters found branches making contact with a tree at 70th and Grant St., which caused the outage impacting more than 2,100 customers referenced below. The tree has been trimmed back away from the line, and customers in this area had power once again at 5:56 p.m.
Our crews continue to work to restore power to more than 1,600 customers impacted by the storms as they rolled through our area. We will continue to post updates as we learn more.
5:15 p.m. – As storms move through our service territory, more than 3,600 customers are currently without power.
OPPD is investigating one circuit outage that’s impacting more than 2,100 customers in Northwest Omaha. The boundaries are Pratt St. to the north and Blondo St. to the south, between 74th and 52nd St. This outage began at 5:06 p.m.
Our crews are responding to another circuit outage impacting more than 1,500 customers in the north central part of the Omaha metro. Those impacted lost power at 4:39 p.m. and are between State St. to the North, Browne St. to the south, Wenninghoff Rd. to the west and 72nd St. to the east.
