Circuit outage impacting rural area customers

OPPD is working to restore power outage caused by tree interference

Our crews have discovered tree interference, which they are working to clear.  They hope to have power restored by 2 p.m., barring any unforeseen problems.

OPPD is investigating a power outage on a circuit with customers in both Saunders and Cass County customers. Nearly 400 customers are impacted between the boundaries of 2nd St & US Hwy 6 to the north and Mill Rd. to the south, between St. Hwy 63 to the west and 310 Rd. to the east.

We do not yet know the cause, but our troubleshooters are headed to the area to patrol the circuit. We will post updates as we learn more
