Sarpy County circuit outage

UPDATE — 4:50 p.m.  At 4:40 p.m., power was restored to all Sarpy County customers impacted by the circuit outage that began at 1:26 p.m.

3:45 p.m.  At 3:12 p.m., our crews were able to restore power to most of the circuit that was out in Sarpy County. However, 33 more customers remain without power at this time until further repairs can be made. We will continue to work diligently to get those remaining powers back online as quickly as we can, while working safely.

3 p.m. Our team is continuing to patrol the area of the outage, looking for the cause. Since it is not yet known, we are extending our restoration target to 4:30 p.m. We know it’s hot, and we’re working to find the issue so we can make repairs as soon as safely possible. Thanks for your patience!

1:45 p.m. OPPD crews are responding to a circuit outage in Bellevue, which began at 1:26 p.m. It’s affecting 1,288 customers. They are between Jewell Ave. (north) and Offutt Air Force Base (south) between Lincoln Rd. (east) and the Missouri River (west).

We are investigating the cause of the outage, but hope to be able to restore this circuit by 3 p.m., barring any unforeseen difficulties.

We will keep you posted as we learn more.Power out_square
