Douglas County power outage

12:50 a.m., Sept. 24

Our crews are still working to restore power to the remaining customers at this time. We will post additional updates, if necessary, in the morning. We thank our customers for their patience during this restoration effort.

11:30 p.m., Sept. 23

OPPD crews were able to restore power to 1,527 customers at 10:22 p.m. Approximately 200 customers remain without power, while troubleshooters work to confirm the cause. They suspect the problem is with underground cable. We are hoping to have all remaining customers restored by midnight, barring any unexpected complications.

10 p.m., Sept. 23

OPPD troubleshooters are looking for the cause of a power outage that’s impacting 1,729 customers in Douglas County. The circuit serving them locked out at 9:32 p.m.

Those without power are between Military Rd. and Maple St., from 108th St. to 137th Ave.

Our team will be patrolling the circuit looking for the source of the trouble so that repairs can be made. We do not yet have an estimated restoration time. However, we will post updates here as we learn more.
