Power has been restored to all customers affected by this outage.
We can confirm that the outage was caused by a vehicle hitting a pole, taking down the pole and power lines near 50th and Marinda streets. Our troubleshooters will remain on site to help with traffic until a crew arrives to begin repairs.
A circuit lockout at 2:54 p.m. left 2,105 central Omaha customers without power this afternoon.
The affected area is bounded by Jones Street on the north and Spring Street on the south, between 42nd and 51st streets.
No cause has been confirmed, but there have been reports of a car hitting a pole in the area.
Troubleshooters are on the way, and we will provide updates here as we learn more.
