OPPD troubleshooters have restored power to the 1,166 customers affected by an afternoon outage.
Troubleshooters located the source of the outage near 72nd and Maple streets and closed the local circuit, restoring power as of 4:34 p.m.
OPPD troubleshooters are on their way to an outage in Omaha affecting 1,166 customers.
The outage began at 3:45 p.m. Thursday. It affects an area roughly bordered by Spaulding Street to the north, Blondo Street to the south, 67th Street to the east and 90th Street to the west.
We don’t know a cause at this time, but troubleshooters should be able to identify one once they arrive. Right now we believe we can restore power by 5:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen circumstances or developments. We’ll provide updates as soon as we get them.
