This circuit lockout happened after a cable in the area was damaged. Our troubleshooters are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power to the affected customers.

We now estimate a 4 p.m. restoration time, barring any unforeseen developments.

OPPD is responding to an outage in Omaha that affects 1,124 customers.

The outage was caused by a circuit lockout at 1:52 p.m. Two OPPD troubleshooters are en route to the affected area, bordered roughly by B Street to the north, Q Street to the south, 28th Street to the west and Gibson Road to the east.

We haven’t yet identified a cause. We estimate a 3:30 p.m. restoration time, barring any unforeseen developments.
