Power restored to 1,379 customers

Power has been restored to all customers affected by this outage.

The outage was caused by an object interfering with a power line.

A circuit lockout in the southwest Omaha area has left 1,379 without power. The outage happened about noon on Tuesday.

The affected area is bordered by Harrison Street to the north and Schramm Road to the south, between 186th Street to the east and the Elkhorn River to the west.

Preliminary reports indicate an object may have made contact with a power line, and a line crew is being called to the scene. We will provide updates here as more information becomes available.
