Troubleshooters found a bad cable that damaged a utility pole Lloyd St. and Skyview Dr., which caused the below power outage. Our crew on-site has completed work to restore power to approximately half of the customers impacted, as of 3:51 p.m. We anticipate the remainder of customers will be back online by 4:15 p.m., barring any unforeseen problems.

3 p.m., Dec. 11, 2023

A power outage is impacting more than 1,100 customers in Sarpy County. The circuit serving them locked out at 2:51 p.m.

The area impacted is Cornhusker Rd. to the north, down to Hwy 370 to the south, from the Kennedy Freeway to Lincoln Rd.

OPPD has sent troubleshooters to investigate. We do not yet have the cause, but will work to determine it as quickly as we can in order to restore power to the area.

We will post updates here as we learn more.
