A tree falling on a power line was the cause of the outage in the area bounded by Military Road to the north and West Maple Road to the south, between 78th Street and 96th Street.
A crew is on site working to restore power to all customers affected by that outage.

Two circuit lockouts in northwest Omaha have left 4,217 customers without power as thunderstorms move through the area.
We don’t know the cause of the lockouts yet, but troubleshooters are en route to investigate both outages.
The first outage, affecting 1,906 customers, is in an area bounded by Sprague Street to the north and Blondo Street to the south, between 90th and 108th streets.
The second outage, affecting 2,311 customers, is in an area bounded by Military Road to the north and West Maple Road to the south, between 78th Street and 96th Street.
We will provide updates on both lockouts here as we receive more information.
