6:45 p.m., Sunday, May 12

Power has been restored to all but 162 customers in Central Omaha. The cause of the outage was equipment failure impacting a primary power line.

More repairs are needed to restore power to the remaining customers. We do not yet have an estimated restoration time, but we will provide more information as we have it.

5:45 p.m. – A circuit lockout has left 2,286 customers in Central Omaha without power. It happened at 5:12 p.m. Those impacted are between the boundaries of Decatur St. and California St., between 51st St. and 42nd St.

Right now, we do not know the cause, but OPPD troubleshooters are investigating. We will report more information here as we learn it from our crews.
