Circuit lockout in North Central Omaha

9:00 a.m., Sunday, May 12 – Our crews were able to restore power at 8:48 a.m. by switching the power source serving this area. OPPD remains on-site and, and our crews still have some cable repair work ahead. However, this work should not impact your service. Thanks for your patience, and have a wonderful Mother’s Day!

8:26 a.m. –Our troubleshooters believe the problem is a bad underground cable. They are currently working on isolating that cable so that power can be restored to the circuit. Our current estimated time for service restoration is 9 a.m., barring any unforeseen challenges.

7:26 a.m. – OPPD Is investigating a power outage in North Central Omaha. It started at 6:35 a.m., impacting more than 1,500 customers. Those without power are between Blondo St. and California St., from 74th St. to 89th Plz.
