Outage in west Omaha

Tuesday, July 30

10:10 a.m. – Trouble has been restored to all but three customers in this morning’s outage, which was caused by damaged switchgear in the area. The remaining customers will be out until the equipment is replaced this afternoon.

8:50 a.m. – Troubleshooters are en route to the area where a west Omaha outage is impacting 2,501 customers. The unconfirmed cause of the outage is reportedly some switch gear which was struck. As of now, the estimated restoration time is 9:30 a.m., barring any unforeseen circumstances.

8:10 a.m. – A circuit lockout in west Omaha is impacting 2,501 customers this morning. There is no cause at this time. The outage spans from Harrison to Howe streets and from 116th to 132nd streets. We will post more information here when it becomes available.
