At 8:44 p.m., 2,225 customers in the midtown area of Omaha lost power. It’s affecting those between Jones St. and Dupont St., between 66th St. and 46th St.
OPPD troubleshooters found the problem — a bad feeder cable fro the substation that serves the area. Our crews are now working to switch power over to another source to restore electricity to those impacted, while they work on repairs.
