Power outage in North Bend area

12:22 p.m., Oct. 16, 2024

We are happy to report power has been restored to the North Bend area. Our crews found a bird nest interfering with equipment at the substation and removed it.

12:06 p.m., Oct. 16, 2024

A power outage is impacting nearly 1,300 customers in the North Bend area. They lost power at 11:22 a.m.

Two circuits are impacted. The first is bound by County Road K and County Road 14A, between County Road 12 and State Highway 79. The second is bound by County Road M Legges Lake Drive, between County Road 7 and County Road 14 Blvd.

Our troubleshooters are investigating, and they think it’s an issue at the substation that serves this area. So a substation technician has also been called. We hope to be able to restore power soon, potentially within the hour pending any unforeseen problems.
