Southwest Omaha power outage

1:15 p.m. Our troubleshooters were able to close the circuit to restore power to most customers impacted by the below outage by 12:56 p.m. However, approximately 200 customers will remain without power a while longer, as OPPD crews work to repair the power line and pole. We hope to have power restored by approximately 2:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen issues.

12:55 p.m.  OPPD is responding to a power outage that’s impacting nearly 1,700 customers. The customers are between Martha Street and Howe Street, between 120th Street and 100th Street. They lost power at 12:52 p.m.

Our troubleshooters found a power line on the ground in the area. OPPD is working to make repairs to get power back to affected customers as quickly and safely as possible. We do not yet have an estimated restoration time, but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
