OPPD has restored power to most of the 1,426 customers affected by an outage near downtown Omaha.
Troubleshooters identified the cause as a failed switch and restored power to most customers at 12:14 p.m. They’re still working to pick up a few remaining customers who are still without power. Our estimated restoration time for those customers is 1 p.m., barring any unforeseen circumstances.
The affected area is roughly bordered by Harney Street to the north, Pierce Street to the south, 27th Street to the east and 18th Street to the west.
